OYSIEC fixes February 2017 for LG Election

The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), has fixed February 11th 2017 for the conduct of Local Government Elections in the State.

The much anticipated poll is coming exactly nine years after the last elections were conducted in the state.

Briefing TVC NEWS in Ibadan, Chairman of the State Electoral Commission John Olajide-Ajeigbe expressed the readiness of the electoral body  to oversee free, fair and credible  and independent polls one that he claims would set the tone for future elections in the state.
