Ondo PDP faction accuses INEC of bias

The chairman of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ondo State, Biyi Poroye says the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was wrong not to have confirmed businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim as the party’s standard bearer.
INEC had on Thursday released the names of twenty-eight governorship candidates for the November 26th Governorship election.

Addressing a news conference in Akure, Poroye insists that Jimoh Ibrahim remains the authentic candidate of the PDP in the state.

He alleged that INEC is being used by some politicians to scuttle ibrahim’s ambition, vowing that the action of the commission would be challenged in court.
