The Nigerian Medical Association has given the federal government a 14 day ultimatum to look into the implementation of the national health act in the 2017 budget.
The association and a coalition of civil societies took to the streets of the nation’s capital in protest, calling for the implementation of the National Health Act which was signed two years ago in 2014.
But their march was cut short at the presidential villa entrance where they were stopped from proceeding further by security officials.
