Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure(FUTA) has urged the Vice chancellor of the institution to resign appointment following allegations of corrupt practices levelled against him.The union says a corrupt vice chancellor can no longer head the university which is highly revered in Nigeria.
They say its is honourable for the VC to resign now before he is disgraced out of office.
The union’s chairman, Dele Durojaiye said with or without Economic and Financial crimes commission probe, investigation conducted has indicted the VC.
