The Federal government has re-affirmed it’s decision to establish grazing reserves across the country.
Receiving a delegation in his office, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation says this will ensure a lasting solution to the incessant clashes between Fulani Cattle herders and Local Farmers.
Lawal noted that nomads from outside Nigeria have migrated into the country and are now perpetrating most of the crimes on the farmlands.
He assures the delegation that government will enlighten the Fulani Herdsmen on how to utilize ranches to make cattle rearing more profitable and reap other socio-political benefits that such settlements will offer.
