Ex-head of State, Abdulsalam hails Chibok Girls release

A former head of state, Adulsalam Abubakar has commended the federal government on the release of twenty one Chibok School Girls by the Boko Haram terrorists.

Abdulsalami made this known in Abeokuta after a courtesy visit to the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.

He said the release of the girls stands as a testimony to the fact that dialogue has a special place in crisis situation, and urged the federal government to continue with the strategy.

He said such approach could be used to resolve Niger-Delta crisis.
