Religious leaders have a role to play in the present economic situation for the nation to regain its glory.
This was said at the 6th Annual Convention of the Assemblies of God Church in Lagos.
The General Superintendent of the Badagry district, Henry Ogbonnaya said Nigeria is a great nation that needs the God’S intervention through religious leaders, who are responsible for praying for the country and raising God-fearing leaders.
He added that the anti-graft war by President Buhari is a good step in the right direction that would yield a positive result with time.
Also, religious bodies were enjoined to teach morals to help people draw closer to God.
