Actor Yomi Fabiyi has put out a statement claiming that Nollywood comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, is currently going through tough health situations.
The statement says Baba Suwe’s health decline is as a result of the seasoned actor’s torture at the hands of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) who detained him on suspicion of carrying hard drugs in 2011.
It says that Baba Suwe who is a widower, can hardly walk, let alone go to locations for film productions.
The Statement is demanding from NDLEA the sum of 25 million Naira, that was awarded to the actor by a Lagos Court for damages.
The agency is yet to obey the court order.
