The National Sports reform Committee has proposed jail terms for fraudulent officials who steal from Sportsmen.
This is one of the recommendations made by the Committee in its report submitted to the Sports Minister last Thursday.
The Committee headed by former tennis player and Director at the International Tennis Academy, Godwin Kienka, spells out two types of cheating officials.
Officials who defraud athletes financially and those who replace athletes names.
The Committee says officials who replaces athletes names for their cronies and families should be probed by an independent ethics committee, while those who steal from athletes be criminally prosecuted.
