Nigerian filmmaker Seyi Babatope gets candid on Nollywood. The producer who is gearing up for the release of “When Love Happens Again”, the sequel to his romantic comedy, “When Love Happens”, said diversity is important for the growth of Nollywood.
While speaking to TVCNews, the producer said the movie is set to be released on the 14th of October, 2016.
“When Love Happens” is the story of Moduroti Bankole – Smith, a twenty eight year old Event Planner that has always been unlucky in love. As usual with tales like this, love is bubbling all around her and there’s a close male best friend in the mix but nothing seems to be going well for her in the love department.
To make matters worse, one of her friends that she believes is below par, has just got engaged and she’s been hired to plan the event.
The sequel features Oreka Godis, Weruche Opia, Enyinna Nwigwe, Stanley Chibunna (Funnybone), Udoka Oyeka, Marie Humbert-Droz, Diana Yekinni among others.
The 2014 romantic comedy, which was a box office hit, starred OC Ukeje, Gideon Okeke, Beverely Naya, Desmond Elliot, Weruche Opia, Oreka Godis, Wale Ojo, Bukky Wright, Bassey Keppy Ekpeyong, Enyinna Nwigwe and Shaffy Bello.
