It is day 6 of the Paralympics in Rio and Team Nigeria look to add to their medal haul in powerlifting and Athletics.
Bose Omolayo grabbed gold in powerlifting on Day 5.
It is Team Nigeria’s sixth gold medal of the on-going Games.
Contesting in the women’s -79kg, Omolayo lifted 138 kg to finish top of her weight category.
The silver medal went to Lili Xu of China who lifted 135 kg, while Chinese Taipei’s Tzu-Hui Liu claimed bronze with a lift of 131 kg.
Ndidi Nwosu also won gold in the women’s powerlifting.
She beat off competition from France’s Souhad Ghazouani and Egypt’s Amany Ali.
Team Nigeria now sit 10th on the medal table with 6 gold medals, 2 silver and a bronze.
