The Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to address a joint sitting of the National Assembly on the measures by the government to take Nigeria out of recession.
In a speech welcoming members from the annual recess, Dogara said leaders must take responsibility for the current recession in the land.
Dogara pledged legislative support to the Executive, but directed all standing committees of the House to ascertain the level of the
implementation of the 2016 budget by the Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
