The dust raised by last Saturday’s primary election of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, is not settling soon, as the first runner-up, Olusegun Abraham has rejected the result.
A lawyer, Rotimi Akeredolu scored 669 votes to defeat Abraham, who polled 635 votes.
Abraham who had earlier conceded defeat declared in a statement in Akure, that the result is unacceptable to him,
considering the number of alleged anomalies that have been revealed.
Earlier on Sunday, the second runner-up, Olusola Oke, and some leaders of the party complained that the delegates’ ?list was manipulated in favour of the winner.
