Men of the Ondo state police command has intercepted a truck loaded with fifty bags of Indian hemp in Ifon in Ose local government area of the state.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene while others took to their heels.
Parading the suspects, the state commissioner of Police, Hilda Ibifuro- Harrison, said the suspects would be handed to drug officials for prosecution.
The police commissioner added that the command is ready to work in tandem with other security agencies to curtail the activities of Indian hemp cultivators.
