Men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ondo state have intercepted a vehicle carrying three thousand, two hundred and seventy-eight kilogrammes of cannabis sativa, otherwise known as Indian hemp along Owo/Ogbese road.
The State Commander of the Agency, Mohammed Sokoto disclosed this in Akure, the capital, while parading the driver and the illicit substance before journalists.
Sokoto said the substance was neatly concealed in two hundred and ninety-eight bags in a Mercedes Benz truck, with registration number Lagos MUS 270 XH.
He added that the arrest was made possible through an intelligent report received by the command.
The command paraded the suspect and driver of the vehicle, Usman Bello with the seized drugs.
