Due to poor economic situation of the country and alleged misuse of office, the Labour Party in Ogun State has called for immediate
resignation of the Minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun, the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele and nine other bank directors.
The party made this request while highlighting the some of the challenges confronting the economy of the nation and reasons why the war against corruption of Muhammadu Buhari’s administration should start from within.
The party alleged that 3.2 billion dollars which belongs to the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was not managed properly.
The party wants the anti corruption agencies in the country to commence work on the investigations and prosecution of nine indicted managing directors of different banks in the country.
