President Muhammadu Buhari and U.S. President Barack Obama have held bilateral talks on the sidelines of the ongoing 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Obama commended Buhari for his stance on corruption and pledged continued support.
He said this support would continue even when he leaves office.
The U.S. President also said he would be happy to work with Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram.
On his part Buhari thanked the us for its assistance during the 2015 elections and the fight against Boko Haram.
