The minister had earlier paid a courtesy call on Governor Muhammadu Bindow at the Government House, Yola where she appealed for his intervention in regaining the Yola Women Development Centre released to the Federal Court of Appeal by the immediate past administration.

She said the centre was built with donations by women to serve as a training centre, but was given to the court of appeal, thereby depriving women of a valuable asset .

The minister  held meetings with women groups in the state on Federal Government’s interest-free loan packages instituted to boost their businesses.

The minister also visited an orphanage in Yola before leaving Adamawa State for Taraba state,  where she was billed to visit an IDP camp in  Mutum-Biu town.
