Tunisian filmmaker Ala Eddine Slim’s feature film debut, “The Last of Us,” will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The Film tells the tale of an immigrant’s voyage towards Europe and the imaginary surrealistic odyssey he encountered.
It starred Jawher Soudani, better known as VaJo, a multidisciplinary Tunisian artist, making his acting debut playing the lead.
The film was announced to be slated in Venice Critics’ Week Line-Up alongside other film in competition.
Venice Film Festival is the oldest film festival in the world and it marks its 73rd anniversary.
