The National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, as the Chairman of the Primary Election of the party ahead of the November 26 Gubernatorial Election of Ondo State.
The election scheduled for Saturday, September 3, according to a statement signed by the party’s publicity secretary in Ondo state, Steve Otaloro, would hold at the Ondo State International Event Centre, The Dome.
The advance team is expected to be in Akure on Thursday to liaise with the Ondo State Chapter of the party in preparation for the Conduct of the Primary Election.
Jigawa State Governor on arrival will address the aspirants, the party Executive Council and members of the press on Friday on the exercise.
The primary will commence with the accreditation of delegates would take place three designated centres in Akure, one for each Senatorial district.
