Nasarawa state Governor Tanko Al-Makura has assured investors that there is a conducive environment to do business in the state.
The governor was speaking when he receive representatives of Chief Executive Officer of Dangote conglomerate in Obi local government area of the state.
Al-Makura says the vision and interest of the company in Nasarawa state tallies with the present administration’s goal for diversification of the economy to non oil sectors.

Leader of the delegation says their area of interest is in Rice, coal and sugarcane production which will not only provide employment opportunities
but is capable of making Nasarawa state the largest producer of Rice in Nigeria.
