Former Nigeria defender, Joseph Yobo has denied joining Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars.
After a glittering football career, the 35-year-old announced his retirement in June but reached an agreement with the League Management Company to play for a topflight team as league ambassador.
There were reports that the former Everton defender, who was born in Kano, opted to play for Pillars ahead of other interested clubs.
However, the former Super Eagles captain has now come out to deny the existence of such deal.
