Canadian-based writer accuses Omoni Oboli of stealing Okafor’s Law

A movie script writer based in Canada, Jude Idada, has accused Nollywood producer, director and actor, Omoni Oboli of copying the script for her film, Okafor’s Law, from him.

The new movie is supposed to make its world debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Monday, September 12, 2016.

The star-studded film features an ensemble cast of Richard Mofe Damijo, Toyin Aimakhu, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ken Erics, Ufuoma McDermott, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Yvonne Jegede, Halima Abubakar, Mary Lazarus, Uche Nnaji, Betty Irabor, Tina Mba, Gabriel Afolayan, and Funke Bucknor.

The movie tells the story of a slick serial seducer who bets his friends that he can bed three old flames in six weeks.
