Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola has commiserated with victims of the flood disaster that claimed one life and property worth millions of naira in Osogbo.
The governor who inspected the flooded areas described the incident as shocking.
Aregbesola who regretted the unfortunate incident said the state has not witnessed such since he assumed office in 2010 due to the proactive stance of his government.
Meanwhile, residents of Osogbo are beginning to count their losses following the disaster.
The remains of one Ebenezer Olabode who lost his life during the disaster were found around GRA in Osogbo on Wednesday and have since been taken to a mortuary.
The state commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ayodele Phillips confirmed the death.
