Adekunle Gold beats Ycee, Humblesmith to win ‘best new act’ at 2016 NEA awards

YBNL singer, Adekunle Gold was honoured as the ‘best new act’ at the 2016 Nigerian Entertainment Awards which held on Sunday, September 4 in New York, United States.

Gold beat off competition from Niniola, Ycee, Humblesmith, Mz Kiss and Toby Grey.

He was one of a handful of nominated celebrities on hand to receive their awards. ‘Thank you very much guys, this means a lot to me,’ he said. ‘To everybody that voted for me, thank you.’
