‘Tell Me Something Sweet’ wins award at Black Star Festival

Akin Omotosho’s “Tell Me Sweet Something” took home the Best Narrative Feature award at the concluded Black  Star Film Festival.

The winners were announced at the closing ceremony of the event. 15 films received awards in different categories.

The film that stars award winning actor Thishiwe Ziqubu and Nomzamo Mbatha tells the story of Moratiwa a book store keeper who experienced a dramatic turn of events after falling in love with a male model.

The theme of the BlackStar Film Festival was Migration and featured 64 films in competition from five continents.
