TVC E. English comedian, broadcaster and actress, Susan Elizabeth “Sue” Perkins will not be appearing on Britain’s TV show ‘Great British Bake Off’, as she mysteriously pulled out and leaving Mel Giedroyc to host the show alone.
BBC bosses are keeping strangely tight-lipped over the reason for Sue’s sudden absence from the baking tent but we have been told that she will definitely be back next week.
Keeping schtum, a spokesperson for the show told Metro.co.uk: ‘Sue wasn’t able to join the team in the tent this week, but she’s back next week.’
So poor old Mel will be dropping ‘moist’, ‘oozing’ and ‘hot baps’ left, right and centre on her own tonight.
While some reports have suggested Sue’s disappearance must mean the show is in ‘crisis’, it’s far more likely she probably was off work sick, had a christening to attend, had other work commitments, was at a pre-paid for yoga class, or simply just fancied a duvet day to catch up on EastEnders.
This will be the first time in the show’s six-year history that Mel has ever fronted it alone.
