Governors who cruised to victory on the platform of the All Progressives Congress have been challenged to come up with a blue print for development in the country.
The Progressive Governors converged on Kaduna, to forge a common front towards an improved economy for the Nigerian state.
It’s the first time the governors are meeting after their victory at the 2015 general election to strategise about the economy.
Twenty three of them are of the APC stock out of the thirty six states in the country.
The progressive governors were joined by the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo who is chairman of the nation’s economic team.
Here, it was noted that the country is going downhill and that something needs to be done quickly.
And the governors admitted that they are faced with challenges, but assured they would be surmounted.
Among their concerns is the increasing unemployment rate, and a dwindling economy among others.
