Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, says he won’t step down, despite allegations of budget padding against him.
He made the statement after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting comes twenty fours after the All Progressives Congress asked the Speaker to stop further public comments on the budget padding.

But, the speaker after the meeting told reporter that budget padding was not an offence.
