TVC E. Nigeria’s Under 23 team, the Dream Team defeated their Honduras counterpart 3-2 on Saturday in the third place match of the men’s Olympic football to secure first medal for their country at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Nigerian team led with 3-0 goal until the Honduras opened their scoring spirit at almost 71st minutes of action while the second goal came at about 82nd minutes of play.
The Dream team however managed to defend their lead to secure bronze medal for the world’s most populated black nation.
