A group of concerned Nigerians have expressed concerns about the current state of Nigeria’s education, especially the seemingly lack of policy thrust in the sector.
The group under auspices of old students of the Airforce secondary school in Benue state, lamented the drop in the standard
of education and the low enthusiasm by government about issues affecting education.
Many of them cast their minds back to what they called the glory days when education was indeed a legacy sought after by all.
They urged the government to come up with measures to salvage the dwindling fortunes of public education in the country.
