TVC E. The former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has been declared the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primary election in the state.
Eyitayo emerged the winner of the party’s primary by polling 760 votes to defeat the deputy governorship candidate of the PDP in the 2012 governorship election, Hon. Saka Lawal who got only 22 votes.
Eyitayo resigned his appointment as Attorney General on July 22nd to pursue his governorship ambition. The governorship election in ondo state is slated to hold November 26th.
