TVC E. Nigerian pop star, Davido, could be in a mess for not honouring the concert he was billed to perform at the Festival of India concert on Saturday.
Expectedly, many were disappointed as he was the main star attraction concert attendees came to see.
According to Punch, Bolaji Rosiji, the chief organiser confirmed that Davido was duly engaged for the concert.
Rosiji was quoted to have said that Davido “informed them on Friday night, a day to the event, that he was indisposed.”
The report noted that the artiste may have been paid around N7 million by the management of the concert.
The management has reportedly contacted Davido’s representatives with the intention of getting a refund.
Davido and his lawyers are yet to make a public statement regarding the matter.
The singer, who has been on the road for the past few weeks, is currently in Jamaica.
