TVC E. Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, says he will not be resigning as speaker despite allegations of budget padding leveled against him by Abdulmumin Jibrin.
Speaking to state house correspondents after his 10 minutes closed door meeting with President Buhari, Dogara said he will not be resigning as budget padding isn’t an offence
”I am a lawyer and have been a legislator for a while. I never knew of an offence called budget padding” he said.
