2016 AFRIMA Batch A nominees list unveiled

The nominees for the 2016 Africa Music Award Batch A has been announced.

In the Best Female Artist in the Southern African Category includes; Lira, Zahara and Zonke from South Africa, while Liza James and Pah Chihera from Zimbabwe and Sally Boss Mdam from Naimibia.

The Nominees for the Best Male Artist in the Southern African Categories are Aka, Anati II & Cassper Nyovest, Black Coffe, Dizu Plaatjies, DJ Maphorisa, and Kwesa from South Africa, Jah Prazah from Zimbabwe.

In the Western African Category, The nominees for the Best Female Artist are, Aramide, Niniola, Seyi Shay, Team Dollyface, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade from Nigeria while Adiouza from Senegal and Josey from Ivory Coast

The Nominees for the Best Male Artist in Western African includes Brymo, Flavour, Teckno and Wizkid from Nigeria, while we have Okyeame Kwame and Sarkodie from Ghana and Sidikiba Diabete from Mali.

AFRIMA is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, in recognition, giving out of Awards, and Preserving Africa’s rich Music culture, it will hold in Lagos Nigeria in November and will be tagged AFRIMA 3.0.
