TVC E. According to reports American singer and songwriter, Taylor Swift has reportedly threatened Kanye West with criminal prosecution for secretly recording her phone conversation with him months ago.
Although the existence of the recorded phone conversation only came to light on Sunday, the 17th, after Kim Kardashian released it via her Snapchat account
Reports state that the “Shake it off” singer has known about it for months now.
A copy of a letter Swift’s lawyer sent to Kanye’s lawyer as back back as February, states that under the California law, anyone who secretly records a telephone conversation with another person within the state, commits a felony.
A section of the letter allegedly reads:
“Demand is hereby made that you immediately destroy all such recordings, provide us of assurance that this has been done, and also assurance that these recordings have not been previously disseminated.”
The release of the recording by Kim in a misguided bid to stand by her husband, may have given Swift the weapon she needs to drag Kanye to court.
