President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a letter to the National Assembly seeking the screening and confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)‘s boss.
The letter, according to the Senate’s Twitter handle was read on the senate floor on Thursday.
The letter was signed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who was the acting president at the time Buhari was in London for a 10-day vacation.
Magu was appointed as the acting chairman of the commission after Buhari sacked Ibrahim Lamorde on November 9th 2015.
