TVC E. Rita Ora is taking over from Tyra Banks as the lead judge on America’s Top Model when it returns.
The 25-year-old will be accompanied on the panel by Pussycat Dolls’ Ashley Graham, Drew Elliot from Paper magazine and stylist Law Roach who works for Celine Dion among others.
The hit US reality show was cancelled by CW a few months ago after 22 series, but is now on its way back on rival channel VH1.
Will it be the same without 42-year-old Tyra, and her love of smize?
The reason for the line-up change remains unknown but as Tyra is now a mum to a small baby it’s probably to do with her schedule, and Rita’s general ubiquity.
‘But Rita’s not a catwalk model, she’s a pop singer and occasional movie star!’ we hear you bleat.
No, that’s true, but hey – she judged people on The Voice UK and The X Factor and those jobs went relatively well, when she wasn’t crushing the soul of Olly Murs.
And what is a model, anyway? Surely these days it’s anyone who has Instagram. And Rita has that.
