The presidency has apologised to the Senate over the conduct of the representative of the Attorney General of the Federation before its committee on Judiciary on Thursday.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly, Ita Enang, made the apology in an interview with Senate correspondents on Friday.
Enang also denied standing as a prosecution witness against the Senate leadership as a presidential aide. He says the case against Senators Bukola Saraki,
Ike Ekweremadu and two others for alleged forgery predates his appointment hence he is only to appear before the court as a former chairman of the Senate Rules and Business Committee in the seventh Senate.
