NFF continues search for new Eagles’ Technical Adviser

The board of the Nigeria football federation has mandated its technical committee to recommend another candidate for the post of Super Eagles technical adviser.

This follows the NFF’s failure to reach an agreement with Frenchman Paul Le Guen who was earlier contacted for the job.

At a meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday, the NFF board approved Salisu Yusuf as Super Eagles Head coach while Imama Amapakabor and Alloy Agu would serve as assistants.

Chairman of the Nigerian coaches association, Bitrus Bewarang was also approved to be the National technical director, replacing the late Amodu Shuaibu.

The NFF also resolved that henceforth all national team assistant coaches will no longer receive monthly salaries.

The coaches will only be entitled to allowances and bonuses and have been advised to seek substantive jobs elsewhere.
