Nigerian Under-20 midfielder, Ifeanyi Matthew, will no longer be part of the Nigerian League All-Stars team to Spain after signing for Norwegian club, Lillestrom on a four year deal.
Lillestrom beat off competition from Belgian side, Anderlecht and Danish giants, Brondby to sign the 20 year old midfielder from Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars.
Matthew came into limelight when he played in the Golden Eaglets team which won the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.
He also represented Nigeria at the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
