Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has been re-instated as the authentic National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The appointment of Ahmed Makarfi as caretaker committee chairman has also been nullified on Thursday.
The ruling which was made by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court on Thursday, lasted for close to an hour.

It held that the purported convention held in port-Harcourt on May the 20th, 2016, was held in violation of the two court orders of the Lagos Division of the Federal High court which barred the PDP, and INEC, from holding the convention.
