Adamawa IDPs protest against ultimatum to vacate camp

More than 300 Internally Displaced Persons in Adamawa State have protested against the verdict of the House Rent Tribunalgiving them a seven days ultimatum to vacate abandoned building belonging to the Adamawa State Fiscal Responsibility Commission in which they make use as camp.

Reacting to the Judgement in an interview with TVC News, some of the IDPs claim that their ancestral homes are yet uninhabitable noting that on weekly basis Boko Haram militants kill at a will in their abandoned communities.

They however appealed to Governor Jibrilla Bindow to intervene by not allowing some selfish individuals to compound their woes.
