China’s Wu Ashun created more history by claiming his second European Tour title after a rollercoaster final round of the Lyoness Open.
Wu carded a closing 69 at the Diamond Country Club to finish 13 under par, one shot ahead of playing partner Adrian Otaegui, with England’s Richard McEvoy equalling the best finish of his career in third.
The 30-year-old was the first Chinese player to win on home soil when he lifted the Volvo China Open title last year and is now the first from his country to win on European soil and the first to win twice on the European Tour.
