TVC E. Jose Mourinho, who has just been made the new Manchester United Manager has said he will not reignite his personal rivalry with Pep Guardiola.
It is no hidden fact that the two managers, Mourhino and Guardiola have been at logger heads right from the time they both coached Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.
The duo, Mourinho and Guardiola will be working in Manchester next season, with the Spaniard set to take over at the Etihad. Mourhino says if he focuses on Guardiola, it could affect their chances of winning the Premier League.
Talking to a group of football coaches in Lisbon on Tuesday, May the 31st, 2016, Mourhino said “What has happened in the past does not allow me to be innocent. For two years Pep and I were in a league where the champion would be either me or him, Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“In a situation like this, individual fights make sense because they can influence things. But in the Premier League, if I focus on him and Manchester City, and he on me and Manchester United, someone else is going to win the league.”
