Senators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP) in the Senate have passed a vote of confidence on the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a news briefing to counter the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the majority senators and their allies stoutly defended the anti-corruption policies and other programmes of the Buhari administration.
They expressed shock at what they describe as a totally partisan reaction by PDP to the ongoing investigations and recovery of public funds meant for the prosecution of the war against insurgency.
The Senators said the EFCC investigations are not a partisan war against any particular political party or targeted at innocent individuals.
