A new video has emerged online showing Real Madrid goal poacher, Cristiano Ronaldo flinging the equipment of a journalist trying to interview him.The video shows Ronaldo losing his temper and grabbing the TV reporter’s microphone roughly and tossing it into a lake ahead of Hungary tie.
The Portugese striker has endured a woeful time at Euro 2016 in France, from being marked out of the game against Iceland, to his missed penalty against Austria.
Portugal coach Fernando Santos said after the painful goalless draw against Austria that Ronaldo has been able to sleep, and he really appear to crack up today when he was only asked by a reporter if he was fully prepared for the crucial Hungary clash tonight.
Meanwhile, his long-term rival Lionel Messi scored a sensational free-kick last night to become Argentina’s record scorer, but the same kind of plaudits cannot be given to Ronaldo for the tournament Europe where he has also beaten Luis Figo’s record for highest appearance for the Portuguese national team.
Ronaldo’s side faces Hungary in a must-win game to progress at the Euros. If the team finishes top in Group F, it will play Roy Hodgson’s England.
