TVC E. Douglas Jack Agu, better known by his stage name, Runtown, the Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer with a diverse musical style mix of hip-hop, the embattled singer has violated the Federal restraining order not to perform at any live show in the United States.
Runtown has gone ahead to perform at an Oakland show despite a Federal Court injunction ordering him not to perform at any live show, performance or concert in the United States.
The singer and his estranged label are scheduled to reconvene in court on June 14, 2016 in New York and it would be of interest to the followers of this drama to see what the implication of Runtown’s defiance of the court order would be.
Runtown has been in the middle of a legal battle with his label Eric Many Entertainment over a contract breach, planning tours in the United States without consent of his label, making false, malicious and defamatory statements against Eric Many and its CEO, Prince Okwudili Umenyiora.
Runtown released his first single titled “Runtown” which was produced by Soge in 2007,
