The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas workers, NUPENG has suspended its strike in Rivers State.
The leadership of the South-south zonal wing of the union made the announcement after the intervention of the State Governor, Nyesom Wike and some national executive members of the oil and gas union.
NUPENG were on strike six days ago, over the alleged victimization of some of its members, by their employers for attempting to participate in union activities.
