The Ogun State Police Command have confirmed two people dead in attacks by suspected militants on two communities on the boundary between Ogun and Lagos.
The communities are Elepete in Ogun and Igbo-Olomu in Ikorodu North Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The Ogun Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the attackers came from the creeks to launch the attacks.
Although, residents said the casualty figure could be higher, thet said some of the victims were landlords who kept watch over the communities because of incessant armed robbery attacks on the communities.
